Helping Hands. Stronger Communities.
What Is The Fix It Forward Fund?
At Fix It Forward, we believe no one should have to live with unsafe, broken, or unlivable conditions just because they can’t afford repairs. That’s why we created the Fix It Forward Fund — a way for our community to come together, support one another, and make a difference one project at a time.

How It Works
Sometimes a neighbor, senior, or family may need a repair they simply cannot afford. Through the Fix It Forward Fund, every donation goes directly toward covering the cost of materials and labor for those projects. Whether it’s fixing a leaky roof, repairing unsafe stairs, or restoring heat in the winter, your contribution helps restore safety, dignity, and comfort.

100% Community-Powered
Your donation doesn’t go to overhead — it goes directly to the project. Fix It Forward takes on the work, and with your generosity, we cover the rest. Together, we can step in where it matters most.

Nominate Someone in Need
There are two ways to help us connect donations with real people and projects:
1. Sponsor a Specific Project
If you’re donating to support someone you know, please fill out the contact form with their details. Let us know how much you’ve donated toward their project so we can earmark those funds specifically for them. Once verified, Fix It Forward will apply those funds directly to their repair.
2. Nominate Without Donating
Even if you’re not in a position to donate, you can still nominate someone in need. Do you know someone who could use a helping hand? We’d love to hear their story. You can fill out the contact form on this page, or send us an email at roy@fixitforwardutah.com
.
When nominating, please include:
-
Name and contact information of the person in need
-
Project details (what’s broken, what needs to be fixed)
-
Urgency (is it a safety concern, seasonal need, or general repair)
-
Any helpful background (such as age, circumstances, or special considerations)
-
If sponsoring, the amount you’ve donated toward their project
This ensures that when donations come in, we can match them with projects that truly make an impact.

Why It Matters
Every nomination and every donation plays a role. Some projects are fully funded by sponsors who know someone personally, while others are covered by contributions from neighbors and supporters. Together, we’re building a community where no one has to face home repair challenges alone.
